About the Company:

Sagan represents a niche B2B company with both an e-commerce product line and a service-based arm. The team is entrepreneurial and collaborative, with a focus on operational excellence in a specialized industry serving fire and emergency services. You'll join a small but driven team working closely with founders, sales, and an external marketing consultant to scale digital performance.

We're looking for a Digital Marketing Manager to drive visibility and revenue across two lines of business: a growing e-commerce store selling fire equipment and a core services business focused on equipment testing. You'll lead digital execution across content, SEO, email, and storefront optimization, supporting brand visibility and lead generation. You'll work closely with the founders and a marketing advisor for strategy, but own hands-on execution end-to-end.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a digital marketing plan across SEO, email, content, and social.
  • Optimize and manage the BigCommerce storefront, including landing pages, product pages, and promotions.
  • Create and repurpose content: product demos, how-to videos, blog posts, social snippets.
  • Support brand partnership outreach with influencers and key fire-service personalities.
  • Collaborate with sales on collateral, CRM hygiene, and lead generation.
  • Report weekly on marketing activities and propose next-step iterations.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of digital marketing experience in an e-commerce or product-driven business.
  • Experience with SEO tools, email automation, and basic design tools (Canva, Adobe, etc.).
  • Proficiency in e-commerce CMS (BigCommerce, Shopify, WooCommerce, etc.).
  • Ability to write, storyboard, or coordinate content for social, email, and video.
  • Strong English communication skills and cultural alignment with the US market.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Familiarity with the fire service or emergency response industries.
  • Experience supporting sales teams with CRM integration, collateral, or outreach campaigns.
  • Basic HTML/CSS or CRO tools for landing page testing and conversion optimization.
