**About the role** As an **ETL Informatica/Snowflake Enginee** **r** , you will make an impact by designing, supporting, and optimizing data integration and automation processes across enterprise systems. You will be a valued member of our Data Engineering and Operations team, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data flow and operational efficiency. **In this role, you will:** + Provide hands-on support for Informatica PowerCenter, including monitoring, troubleshooting, ETL development, and code deployment. + Optimize and manage SQL Server queries, stored procedures, and indexing for high-performance data operations. + Work with Snowflake data warehouse for ETL processes and performance tuning. + Utilize Azure cloud services to enhance scalability and reliability of data solutions. + Implement DevOps automation for file transfers, compression (zip/unzip), scripting, and secure file movement using tools like MoveIt. + Manage job scheduling and outage handling using CA Workload Automation Job Scheduler. **Work model** At Cognizant, we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible, and we are here to support a healthy work-life balance though our various wellbeing programs. Based on this role's business requirements, this is an **onsite** position requiring 5 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in **Fitchburg, Wisconsin** . **What you need to have to be considered** + Hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter for ETL development and troubleshooting. + Strong proficiency in SQL Server, including query optimization and stored procedures. + Experience with Snowflake data warehouse and performance tuning. + Familiarity with Azure cloud services. + Knowledge of DevOps tools and automation, including secure file movement and scripting. + Experience with CA Workload Automation Job Scheduler for job scheduling and outage management. **These will help you stand out** + Ability to streamline ETL processes and improve operational efficiency. + Strong problem-solving skills and experience in automation for large-scale environments. + Knowledge of best practices in data security and compliance. + Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment. The annual salary for this position is between $75,000 - $100,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
