Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled FPGA Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing FPGA solutions for various applications. This role requires a strong background in electrical engineering and experience with programmable logic devices. The FPGA Engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful integration of hardware and software systems. This is a remote position. Duties

• Design and develop FPGA architectures for various projects, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with project teams to define project schedules and milestones, ensuring timely delivery of engineering solutions.
• Ability to multitask between projects as necessary.
• Develop reusable IP blocks in SystemVerilog and/or VHDL RTL design languages.
• Perform module and top-level verification tests suitable for regression.
• Utilize FPGA vendor design tools such as AMD Vivado, Intel Quartus, or Microchip Libero.
• Develop automated flow scripts using languages such as Python, TCL, and/or makefile scripting.
• Contribute to system design discussions, leveraging expertise in SystemVerilog, Python, MATLAB, and other relevant tools.
• Perform signal processing tasks and work with electrical systems to ensure compatibility with SoC designs.
• Maintain documentation of designs, processes, and test results for compliance with industry standards.
• Support system design debugging and integration as necessary.

Qualifications

• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on debugging complex systems.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated to achieve individual goals.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in FPGA design and development using VHDL or Verilog.
• Experience with PCIe endpoint designs is a plus.
• Familiarity with vendor FPGA architectures, including high-speed SERDES interfaces.
• Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and practices, including schematics interpretation.
• Experience with mechanical knowledge related to system integration is a plus.
• Proficiency in project scheduling tools and methodologies to manage multiple projects effectively.
