Liro Group, a cutting-edge leader in engineering and infrastructure, is currently seeking a skilled Geologist/Environmental Scientist for our Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Department. This role involves conducting geologic and environmental assessments to support our diverse project portfolio which includes urban infrastructure developments and sustainability initiatives. The successful candidate will be integral in ensuring environmental compliance and promoting eco-friendly solutions in line with our mission of innovation and excellence. Perform site investigations, data collection, and geological analysis to assess environmental impact of projects. Develop, plan, and implement environmental models and investigations in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Collaborate with project teams to design and execute remediation strategies that minimize environmental risks. Write and review technical reports, deliver presentations, and provide recommendations based on scientific findings. Conduct risk assessments and develop management plans to monitor and mitigate environmental concerns. Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and regulations in environmental science and geology. Proficiency in GIS software and environmental modeling tools. Strong understanding of soil science, hydrogeology, and environmental chemistry. Ability to interpret geological maps and aerial photographs. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and project management abilities.
