Find your purpose at CentraCare as a Health Unit Coordinator team member in the Neuroscience/Spine Unit! As a Health Unit Coordinator (HUC), you serve a vital role in being the communication link for the unit. Responsibilities will include greeting and assisting patients/families, guests, and providers as well as managing telephone communications, organizing and maintaining patient charts, and performing clerical and receptionist duties to support patient care.
Schedule
Part-time | 24-56 hours every two weeks
Rotating shifts 7am-5:30pm and 9am-3:30pm
Will be scheduled every 3rd weekend (Fri, Sat, Sun) and rotating holidays
Onsite | St. Cloud Hospital
Pay and Benefits
Starting pay begins at $18.28 per hour; exact wage determined by years of related experience
Pay range: $17.00-$25.54 per hour
Earn extra pay for working evening/night/weekend shifts
Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent experience/knowledge required.
Knowledge of medical terminology required.
National Health Unit Coordinator certification preferred.
Previous experience utilizing an EMR (electronic medical record) preferred.
Minimum of one year experience with office procedures and equipment with computer experience preferred.
