HUMAN RESOURCE SPECIALIST Pay Rate: $19.00/hour Shift Requirements: Monday through Friday between 7:30 AM – 6:30 PM, with some flexibility JOB SUMMARY The Human Resource Specialist supports the Human Resources Department by assisting with employee lifecycle processes, HR programs, and administrative functions. This role provides frontline support to employees and managers, ensures accurate processing of HR documentation, and maintains compliance with established policies and procedures. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Assist with administering human resources programs and procedures for all employees Process employee lifecycle transactions and follow up to ensure required documentation is complete Provide information to employees and managers regarding established HR policies and processes Refer complex issues to HR Consultants as appropriate Assist with preparation, processing, and maintenance of post-offer employment documentation, including I-9 verification using the E-Verify system Support post-employment drug screening, background screening, post-accident, and random testing programs Prepare employment forms and maintain HR information on the Corporate Intranet for manager and employee use Assist with employee onboarding, offboarding, and other lifecycle paperwork in accordance with company procedures Support benefits administration and wellness programs as needed Assist with document control and auditing activities Process employment verification requests in compliance with established guidelines Provide administrative support to the Human Resources Department Prepare reports and correspondence as directed Perform other duties as assigned PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS Intermediate data entry and customer service skills Experience with document auditing Knowledge of payroll and benefits administration preferred Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage confidential information professionally Effective written and verbal communication skills If you are interested, please reach out to Chin Yang at A-Line Staffing. 586-323-4194 | cyang@alinestaffing.com
