*Job Overview*
We are seeking an experienced and technically proficient HVAC Installation & Service Technician with a strong multi-disciplinary background to support a wide range of mechanical and construction systems in both residential and light commercial settings. The ideal candidate will possess deep working knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical (line and low-voltage), gas piping, duct systems (metal and ductboard), and associated building trades.
This role requires a high degree of independence, precision, and field-based decision-making. Candidates must be capable of interpreting construction documents, wiring schematics, and mechanical plans, and should be confident interfacing with clients on-site.
*Duties*
* Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, heating systems, and refrigeration equipment.
* Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to determine the layout of HVAC systems.
* Conduct field service visits to troubleshoot and resolve HVAC issues for clients.
* Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure they operate efficiently.
* Utilize tools such as ohmmeters, welders, and other equipment for installation and repairs.
* Collaborate with other technicians to complete projects on time while adhering to safety standards.
* Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
* Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns and answering questions regarding HVAC systems.
* Installation, service, and commissioning of conventional split AC systems, attic-mounted air handlers, and heat pump systems.
* Installation and maintenance of ductless mini-split systems, including cassette units, wall-mount units, and slim duct systems with wall brackets.
* Installation of rooftop package units (RTUs) and light commercial HVAC systemsIntegration and balancing of metal ductwork and ductboard systems, including field fabrication of transitions, 45°, and 90° elbows.
* Duct sealing, duct blasting, and system performance testing.
* Full replacements of hydronic heating systems, including boiler swap-outs, hot water baseboards, steam radiators, and in-floor radiant systems.
* Installation and troubleshooting of line-voltage (120V/240V/277V/480V) and low-voltage control systems, including thermostats, relays, and sensors.
* Installation of natural gas and propane piping systems, including underground gas lines, manifolds, and appliance hookups in accordance with NFPA 54 and local code.
* Gas leak testing and system pressure verification.
*Requirements*
* Proven experience as an HVAC Installer or similar role in construction or property maintenance.
* Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in HVAC design, plumbing, refrigeration, and air conditioning systems.
* Ability to read schematics and technical drawings effectively.
* Proficient in brazing techniques related to HVAC installations.
* Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in equipment repair tasks.
* Valid driver's license required; must be able to travel to job sites as needed.

* Must possess own hand tools; specialty tools provided.
* Ability to work in confined spaces, attics, rooftops, and outdoor environment.
* Physical ability to lift 75+ pounds and perform repetitive physical tasks.

Pay: From $30.00 per hour
