Full Time or Part Time - In-House Collections Counsel
Location: Newark Legal Center, Newark, NJ
Admission to the NJ Bar Association - A Must
Comp: Wide Open DOE
Our law firm client needs to hire an in-house collections counsel to represent their law firm and take over their internal law firm's internal collections. This position could be full-time or part-time. This is a hybrid role and/or could be fully remote once procedurally trained. Responding candidates must have formal collections experience and be familiar with all collection procedures including:
Pre-Litigation Stage, Account Review & Intake, Demand Phase, Litigation Stage, Filing the Lawsuit, Post-Service Process , Discovery & Pre-Trial, Motion Practice, Settlement Negotiations, Trial, Judgment Enforcement, Post-Judgment Remedies, Supplementary Proceedings, and Case Closure.
