We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Jeweler's Assistant to join our team. This role supports our bench jewelers by ensuring all jewelry pieces are polished to perfection, assisting with basic repair tasks, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. The ideal candidate has a passion for fine jewelry, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to quality craftsmanship.
Polishing & Finishing Polish and clean jewelry pieces to meet company quality standards. Use polishing wheels, ultrasonic cleaners, and steamers safely and effectively.
Repair Assistance Assist jewelers with setting up tools and materials for repairs. Perform basic tasks such as sizing rings, soldering, or stone tightening (as trained).
Quality Control Inspect finished pieces for scratches, defects, or imperfections. Ensure all items meet brand standards before delivery to customers.
Inventory & Organization Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition. Keep the workbench and polishing area clean and organized.
Safety & Compliance Follow all safety protocols when handling chemicals, tools, and machinery.
Previous experience in jewelry polishing or related field preferred
Strong attention to detail and ability to work with delicate items.
Basic knowledge of jewelry materials (gold, platinum, gemstones) is a plus.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
Manual dexterity for handling small tools and components.
