We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Junior Postproduction Coordinator to join our Creative Team at AS Beauty! While this is not a creative role itself, it will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth flow of postproduction deliverables across photography and video projects for the larger team. The ideal candidate will act as the key liaison between art directors, retouchers, designers, and project managers–maintaining order, consistency, and timeliness across multiple workflows. Basic understanding / knowledge of photography and retouching is a must.

Responsibilities

• Workflow & Task Management
• Own the Retouching process in Asana, including: Setting and tracking due dates, Updating cards with deadlines, notes, hyperlinks, and reference materials.
• Ensuring clear communication between designers and retouchers.
• Act as the point of contact for designers and the retouching team, managing feedback and ensuring requests are accurately documented.
• Coordinate with the Art Director of Postproduction, project managers, and retouchers to establish and maintain timelines.

File & Asset Management

• Own Dropbox and Verybusy, ensuring images are properly organized, labeled, and stored, working with the Creative Coordinator.
• Manage the distribution of images/projects to freelancers, ensuring correct versions and notes are included.
• Oversee video file management on Box, including:
• Uploading raw footage to the correct folders.
• Maintaining a logical and organized structure for easy access.

Retouching Support

• Annotate images with retouching notes in retouching software for internal and external retouchers.
• Own correspondence with external retouchers, working with the AD and Retouchers to make sure feedback is correct or projects are approved.
• Ensure notes are clear, accurate, and actionable.
• Maintain consistency in documentation across all projects.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in a production coordination, project management, or creative operations role (internships and freelance experience considered).
• Strong organizational skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
• Familiarity with tools such as Asana, Box and VeryBusy (or similar project/file management platforms).
• Basic knowledge of photography and retouching processes (must understand file types, retouching terminology, and workflow needs).
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to serve as a bridge between multiple teams.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• A proactive problem solver who can anticipate needs and maintain order across multiple moving parts.
