Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

• Must have at least 12 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience.

• 12 months of acute care experience.

• BSN completion required

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a California license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• 12 months between Staff at Program: HealthTrust Program - Northern Inyo Healthcare District

Labor Delivery Postpartum Nursery

Required Skills/Experience: Triage, Antepartum, Labor, Postpartum, Neonatal care, Must be comfortable stabilizing babies,

Required Credentials: Graduate of School of Nursing, BFHI (Baby-Friendly) Lactation Education required or within 6 months of hire

Preferred Credentials: BSN/BA preferred

Special Requests: LDRP set up requiring care of Antepartum, Intrapartum, Postpartum patients, stable newborns and stabilization for transport of sick neonates

7 days maximum time off

1 reference from last 12 months (Manager/Supervisor reference type) - required for submission

Driver’s license required for submission

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)

• STABLE (Sugar, Temperature, Airway. Blood Pressure, Lab work and Emotional Support)

• Intermediate AWHONN FHM (Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring)

• C-EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring)
