Malapero Prisco & Klauber LLP is seeking motivated and skilled litigation attorneys to join our dynamic team. We welcome applications from both junior and senior associates with diverse backgrounds in insurance defense, tort litigation, and general liability. Experience in construction law, NYS Labor Law, property damage, and risk management is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload from inception through resolution, including discovery, motion practice, mediation and settlement negotiations, and trial preparation.
• Represent clients in court proceedings across NYC, Westchester, Nassau, and Suffolk counties.
• Provide timely and professional communication with clients and insurance carriers.
• Collaborate with colleagues in a supportive environment on result-driven projects.

Qualifications:

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the New York State Bar is required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Minimum of 2+ years of litigation experience preferred.
• Strong judgment, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.

Salary: A variety of factors are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to experience, education, licensure and/or certifications, geographic location, market demands, other business and organizational needs, and other factors permitted by law. This position is also eligible for discretionary bonuses. Final salary wages offered may be outside of this range based on other reasons and individual circumstances. This position is considered full-time and therefore qualifies for benefits including 401(k) retirement savings plan, medical, dental, vision, and accident insurance. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

Jr Position: $85,000.00 - $120,000.00 (Annual Salary) Salary commensurate with experience.
Sr Position: $120,000.00 - $200,000.00 (Annual Salary) Salary commensurate with experience.
