RCM Health Care is looking for an IN PERSON BCBA to work at the school location in Phillipsburg, NJ for 2-3 hours per visit, 3 times per week.

\nSUMMARY:
\nThis role will provide behavior analysis services and behavior management consultation and plans for students, provide support and professional learning to staff and parent/guardians in appropriate behavior intervention techniques, conduct assessments and develop plans that conform to state and federal code.
\n
\n Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned at any time.\n

Evaluation and Treatment\n\n
    \n\t
  • Plan, prepare and deliver treatment/intervention, including consultation and follow-up services, to students with Autism or behavioral difficulties or to Autism and behavioral support classes.
  • \n\t
  • Monitor and record student progress on an ongoing basis
  • \n\t
  • Write assessments for all evaluations and assessments conducted and provide to child study team or other relevant personnel
  • \n\t
  • Provide BCBA services for students as specified in IEP’s or referred by building staff or administration
  • \n\t
  • Create and assist district staff with the development and implementation of behavior intervention plans.
  • \n\t
  • Provide consultation to Autism and Behavioral support programs in district on an ongoing basis, including providing suggestions to the Director for resources, assessment, curriculum, and data collection, or to support behavior management as a class or for individual students.

  • Create and modify treatment plans for each child on caseload as needed
  • \n\t
  • Train Instructional Aides on ABA and student programming
  • \n\t
  • Conduct Functional behavior analysis assessments
  • \n
\n\nCommunication\n\n
    \n\t
  • Confer and work collaboratively with teachers, parents, Child Study Team members, and other personnel involved in the education of the student.
  • \n\t
  • Provide written home programs/notes, demonstration of treatment techniques, parent conferences, as appropriate and necessary.
  • \n\t
  • Serve as a consultant to staff regarding behavior management
  • \n\t
  • Provide teachers with classroom modifications and strategies to facilitate student success.
  • \n\t
  • Disseminate information and respond to inquiries concerning behavior, ABA techniques, or the Autism program from administration, staff, and parents/guardians. This could include parent workshops, in-district workshops, or faculty meeting presentations.

    \n\t
  • Prepare written materials in compliance with State, Federal and administrative regulations (ex: Lesson plans, student schedules, IEPs and IEP progress reports, goals and objectives, PLAAFP, etc.) for the purposes of documenting activities, providing written reference, and/or conveying information
  • \n\t
  • Prepare for and participate in any child study team/parent meetings including annual review meetings for a student receiving BCBA services.
  • \n\t
  • Serve as an ad hoc member of the I&RS Team.
  • \n\t
  • Participates in the staff in-service education programs and attend departmental and building staff meetings.
  • \n\t
  • Adheres to departmental policies and procedures, including timely submission of schedules, logs, and timesheets.
  • \n\t
  • Adhere to all guidelines as delineated in special education code for the initiation and completion of all procedures, paperwork and processes including referrals, evaluations and implementation of the IEP.
  • \n\t
  • Develop materials, training and provide resources for and provide professional learning to administrators, staff, and parent/guardians in evidence-based methodologies related to addressing the needs of students with Autism or behavioral difficulties.

  • Assist students who are transitioning from alternative programs to regular school programs
  • \n
\n Additional Responsibilities : Performs such other tasks and assumes such other responsibilities as the Director of Special Services or the principal may assign or delegate.
\n Evaluation: Performance in this position will be evaluated annually in accordance with the Board of Education’s policy on supervision and evaluation of instructional personnel.\n\nQUALIFICATIONS:\n\n

    • Minimum of Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or Master’s and Certification in ABA
    • \n\t\t
    • Certified with the Behavior Analysis Certification Board
    • \n\t\t
    • Must maintain credentialing in compliance with BACB
    • \n\t\t
    • Must complete Continuing Education courses as outlined by the BACB
    • \n\t

\n$60-$65/hour - based on experience
