Reporting to the Chef Concierge, the Concierge will serve as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for discerning guests—crafting personalized itineraries, securing exclusive reservations, and curating memorable experiences that define exceptional service.
Provide warm, professional, and proactive service to all guests, ensuring every interaction reflects the hotel’s reputation for excellence.
Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests for dining, entertainment, transportation, shopping, and cultural experiences.
Maintain a deep understanding of New York City’s dining scene, events, and attractions to deliver expert, tailored recommendations.
Coordinate restaurant and theater reservations, transportation arrangements, and tour bookings through trusted vendor networks.
Liaise closely with all hotel departments to ensure seamless communication and flawless guest experiences.
Oversee and maintain concierge resources, including updated vendor contacts, ticketing information, and city event listings.
Assist with guest arrivals and departures, coordinating luggage and transportation logistics with bell staff.
Manage mail, packages, and messages accurately and discreetly.
Handle guest feedback and complaints with empathy and professionalism, ensuring swift resolution and guest satisfaction.
Maintain accurate logs, reports, and charge reconciliations for all concierge-related transactions.
Stay informed on emerging hospitality trends and continually enhance the level of personalized service delivered.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Concierge in a luxury hotel or private membership environment.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; confident interacting with UHNW guests and VIP clientele.
Deep familiarity with New York City’s fine dining, cultural, and entertainment landscape.
Proven ability to handle complex guest requests with poise, discretion, and attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel operating systems (e.g., OPERA, ALICE, SevenRooms, OpenTable, RESY).
Multilingual ability strongly preferred (English required; fluency in an additional language a plus).
Flexible schedule with availability for weekends, holidays, and evenings as required.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Lift or carry packages and luggage up to 25–50 lbs occasionally.
Maintain professional presentation and composure in a fast-paced environment.
