Medical Assistant/Scribe – ENT & Allergy Associates of Florida (Palm Beach Gardens, FL) We are looking for an experienced Medical Assistant/Scribe to provide comprehensive patient care in a full‑time, Monday‑Friday position (9:00 am‑6:30 pm). The ideal candidate is comfortable with in‑office procedures, has strong medical terminology knowledge, excellent typing and multitasking skills, and is a self‑starter eager to learn the ENT, Allergy, and Audiology fields. Responsibilities Answer patient calls Take vitals Obtain authorizations Schedule diagnostic tests and surgery Prepare exam rooms Assist the physician Call in prescriptions Clean and sterilize instruments Qualifications Minimum one year of hands‑on Medical Assistant and/or Medical Scribe experience Current certification or willingness to participate and pass our in‑house training course and state exam Comfortable assisting with surgical procedures Working knowledge of medical terminology Strong written and verbal communication skills with a clear speaking voice Strong interpersonal and organizational skills Professional interaction with patients, physicians, and team members at all times EMR experience Strong computer literacy Bi‑lingual is a plus Benefits Medical, Dental and Vision – Effective 1st of the month after 60 days of full‑time employment STD, LTD, Life insurance – Effective 1st of the month after 1 year of full‑time employment 401(k) – Effective 1st of the month after 1 year of employment 6 paid holidays – Effective immediately PTO – Earned per pay period Physical Demands Requires coordination, manual and physical dexterity to use medical and office equipment, sit, stand, bend, stoop, lift up to 25 lb., and assist patient transfers from wheelchair to exam chair as needed.
