Medical Assistant/Scribe ENT & Allergy Associates of Florida has served patients for 62 years. We are seeking an experienced Medical Assistant/Scribe for a full‑time, Monday‑Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. position at our Port St. Lucie and Stuart offices. Description This is an excellent opportunity for a professional comfortable with in‑office procedures, medical terminology, and strong typing skills for scribing. The role requires multitasking, motivation, and the ability to handle a high volume of incoming patients. The candidate must be a self‑starter and willing to learn all aspects of ENT, Allergy and Audiology. Responsibilities Answer patient calls Take vitals Obtain authorizations Schedule diagnostic tests and surgery Prepare exam rooms Assist the physician Call in prescriptions Clean and sterilize instruments Requirements Minimum one‑year hands‑on experience as a Medical Assistant and Medical Scribe Current certification or willingness to obtain certification through our in‑house training course and state test Comfortable assisting with surgical procedures Working knowledge of medical terminology Strong written and verbal communication skills with a clear speaking voice Strong interpersonal and organizational skills Professional interaction with patients, physicians, and team members at all times EMR experience Strong computer literacy Bi‑lingual is a plus Benefits Medical, Dental, and Vision – effective 1st of the month after 60 days of full‑time employment Company‑paid STD, LTD, Life – effective 1st of the month after 1 year of full‑time employment 401(k) – effective 1st of the month after 1 year of employment 6 paid holidays – effective immediately PTO – earned per pay period Physical Demands There is a need for coordination, manual, and physical dexterity to use medical equipment and office tools.
