An established hospital system in Massachusetts is seeking additional licensed Nurse Practitioners (NP) to join their team at their new Accelerated Care Unit within the ED

About the Opportunity

• Schedule: 8‑hour shifts (8 AM - 4 PM or 3 PM - 11 PM) *opportunity for part time
• Setting: ACU within the emergency department

Responsibilities:

• Manage lower‑acuity emergency patients (ESI 3‑5) in an efficient, high‑throughput environment.
  
• The ACU manages both adult and pediatric patients.
  
• The ACU Provider delivers comprehensive, evidence‑based care, emphasizing rapid assessment, point‑of‑care treatment, patient education, and safe disposition.
  
• The ACU providers practice independently, with emergency physicians available in the ED that is adjacent to the ACU.
  

Qualifications:

• Experience in ER or Urgent Care settings
• Master's Degree in a related field
• MA Nurse Practitioner (NP) license
