The Outreach Energy Analyst will work directly with end users to document energy-efficient equipment upgrades (i.e. lighting, HVAC, motors, controls) within Frontier Energy’s Texas service area. This role will require regular travel and may require multiple days in the field . The Outreach Energy Analyst will process energy efficiency rebates and communicate regularly with customers and contractors while building and maintaining professional relationships to continuously bring in new projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct in person and virtual outreach to secure new program participants
  • Work directly with end use customers and trade allies to identify, calculate, and communicate energy conservation opportunities
  • Coordinate and conduct facility site visits and energy audits
  • Conduct pre- and post-verification site visits at project sites to validate project completion
  • Provide periodic reports of key metrics to program leads regarding project status and/or outreach performance, such as participation rates, stakeholder feedback, and outreach effectiveness
  • Ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction through regular communication and program delivery
  • Identify barriers to participation and develop successful, community-relevant resolutions
  • Regularly travel by car to customer sites throughout Frontier Energy’s Texas service area
  • Other activities related to energy conservation, analysis, reporting, and customer service as requested

Required Skills Description

  • High school diploma or GED (General Educational Development) equivalent
  • 1-2 years of work experience in a related field
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly and persuasively to a variety of audiences both face to face and virtually
  • Adaptive learner with a high level of creativity, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Self-motivated with exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • As this position requires driving, the candidate must have an active, valid, appropriate driver’s license and regular access to a personal vehicle

Preferred Skills Description

  • Knowledge of the energy efficiency field
  • Experience conducting outreach for program participation
  • Experience working with diverse stakeholders such as contractors, trade associations, community organizations, and/or government entities
  • Excellent skills with MS Word®, MS Excel®, MS PowerPoint®, MS Outlook®, and Windows® operating systems
