Job Description

Our client, an Entertainment company in Glendale, CA is seeking a Freelance Associate Project Manager to join their team. The associate Project Manager will support the Manager of Production Management in daily operations and project planning and will coordinate cross-functional creative projects. This role requires strong administrative, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Must be available to work onsite Mon-Thurs: Remote Fri.


Responsibilities:

• Support the Manager of Production Management in day-to-day operations.
• Assist with projects across event production, design, video, and digital.
• Document project scope, schedules, and communications in Smartsheet and email.
• Coordinate with Project Managers to confirm project feasibility, timelines, and budgets.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships across disciplines, including senior leadership.
• Develop feasible project plans and schedules balancing client needs and internal resources.
• Track deliverables and dependencies; clearly communicate updates to stakeholders.
• Provide administrative support: note-taking, documenting processes, organizing information.

Required Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of project coordination and/or event production experience.
• Experience in marketing/creative agency environment
• Experience supporting creative projects (events, graphic design, video, or digital).
• Strong administrative and documentation skills.
• Proficiency with Smartsheet or similar project management tools.
