We are seeking a dependable and experienced Legal Records Associate to support a prestigious AmLaw 100 firm located in downtown Chicago. The right candidate will bring a strong background in legal records management. Job Title: Records Clerk – AmLaw 100 Firm

Location: Chicago, IL (Onsite)

Schedule: Monday to Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Compensation: $25 per hour

Responsibilities

• Maintain and organize client and firm records with accuracy and strict confidentiality.
• Support the firm’s digital initiatives through scanning, digitization, and workflow management.
• Perform quality checks to ensure records meet compliance standards.
• Track and report on volumes, KPIs, and other operational metrics.
• Partner with attorneys, staff, and departments to streamline records management.
• Work independently while contributing to a collaborative, team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Legal Records Management
• Previous experience with iComply, Legalkey, Filetrail, iManage Records Manager, or similar records management software.
• Strong data entry, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with scanning, digitization, and workflow creation.
• Clear written and verbal communication abilities.
• Background in reporting and metrics.
