Position: School Bookkeeper/Secretary

Location: T. R. Miller High School

Qualifications: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and at least six months related experience and/or training in bookkeeping.

Reports To: Local school principal.

Performance Responsibilities/Duties:

• Types a variety of materials, such as letters, student records, reports, memos, etc.
• Greets all visitors courteously, determines their needs, checks appointments and directs or escorts them to the proper person.
• Receives and routes incoming calls courteously.
• Performs such bookkeeping functions as may be assigned.
• Operates and maintains typical office machinery.
• Maintains a high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality of information about students, personnel, and all job related matters.

Evaluation:

• Performance of this job will be evaluated annually in accordance with provisions of the Boards policy on Evaluation of Professional Personnel.

Terms of Employment:

• 212 days - Salary according to appropriate current schedule.
