Master’s degree in School Counseling, Counseling or a related field, active School Counselor license and 1+ years School Counselor experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A K-12 school in San Andreas, CA is seeking a licensed Counselor to support the social, emotional, and academic well-being of students. This contract position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic educational environment, providing direct counseling services and collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver individual and group counseling sessions for students across K-12 grade levels
• Assess student needs and develop appropriate intervention plans
• Provide crisis intervention and support as needed
• Collaborate with school staff and families to promote student success
• Maintain accurate and confidential student records in accordance with school policies

Qualifications:

• Valid School Counselor credential or equivalent licensure
• Experience working with K-12 students in a school counseling capacity
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and discretion
• Knowledge of counseling techniques, behavioral interventions, and child/adolescent development
