Title: Sr. Azure Data Engineer Location : Deerfield Beach, FL (Hybrid 3 days onsite required, 2 days remote) Duration : 6+ Months, could go long term Compensation: 70-80/hr Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the US Senior Azure Data Engineer Azure synapse, Azure migration, Data conversion, Strong SQL, Azure DevOpsOverview: We are seeking a proactive and highly skilled Senior Azure Data Engineer to join our team on a contract-to-hire basis. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory (ADF), and Databricks, and will bring a strong ability to work independently while building lasting relationships with stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and implement scalable data pipelines using Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory (ADF), and Databricks. Optimize and manage ETL processes to ensure data flows efficiently across the platform. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and gather data requirements. Continuously improve data systems and architecture for enhanced performance and scalability. Foster strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and deliverables are met. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members and support in their career development. Proactively identify and address any potential issues or improvements within the data architecture. Required Skills and Qualifications: Proven experience with Azure Synapse Analytics. Strong expertise in Azure Data Factory (ADF) and ETL processes. Proficiency with Databricks for data engineering and analysis. Experience with Azure Fabric is a plus. Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects. Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong focus on proactive solutions. Strong communication skills, with a focus on building relationships across teams. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities.
