The Senior Manager of External Brand & Content Strategy will be instrumental in shaping Formation Bio's reputation among key external stakeholders, including investors, industry leaders, and potential partners. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Brand Strategy & Communications, this role is at the forefront of elevating Formation Bio's external presence through compelling storytelling, impactful content, sophisticated events and activations, and strategic relationship-building.
This position is critical to driving Formation Bio's ambitious short and long term goals, across portfolio growth, partnerships, investor relations, and talent acquisition. Formation Bio aims to deliver the impact and scale of a large pharma company-without the traditional overhead and expense-by leveraging technology and AI to drive scalability and innovation. This position will play a key role in communicating that vision to the world.

Formation Bio is headquartered in New York City, with plans to build a larger team and presence in Boston. We are prioritizing hiring in these areas, with an expectation for NYC-based employees to work in the office at least two days per week. While our primary focus is on candidates in NYC (including the Tri-state Area) and Boston, we may consider remote candidates from specific geographies based on qualifications, skills, and business needs. We believe that in-person collaboration is essential for breaking down silos, fostering cross-functional teamwork, and embedding our company values into daily work. All employees located outside of the NYC Metro Area will be expected to travel to the NYC office at least four times per year for company events and team-specific meetings or activities.
