Job Summary:
Servers at Marriott are responsible for providing high-quality service to guests in the hotels dining areas, ensuring a satisfying dining experience. This role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests and present them with menus and daily specials.
- Take food and beverage orders and relay them accurately to the kitchen and bar staff.
- Serve food and drinks, and ensure guests have everything they need.
- Check on guests to ensure satisfaction with each food course and beverages.
- Clear tables throughout the dining experience and provide dessert menus and coffee.
- Process payment transactions and thank guests as they leave.
- Maintain cleanliness and mise en place of work areas and tables.
Qualifications:
- Previous serving experience preferred, especially in a hotel or fine dining setting.
- Knowledge of food service regulations and best practices.
- Friendly, outgoing personality with a genuine desire to provide hospitality.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with guests and team members.
