Now Hiring: Shipping & Receiving / Building Maintenance Associate
Location: Huntington, WV
Schedule: Monday-Friday, Day Shift
Pay: $16.00/hour
Long-Term Temporary Position
Manpower is seeking a dependable and hardworking individual for a Shipping & Receiving / Building Maintenance role with a local company specializing in water-related solutions , including the sales, service, and repair of pumps, motors, and control systems.
Job Duties Include:
Shipping & Receiving
Receive, inspect, and organize incoming shipments
Pick and prepare orders for outgoing shipments
Load, secure, and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, or cranes
Building Maintenance & Custodial
Clean and restock supplies in break rooms and restrooms
Perform basic building maintenance (e.g., replacing light bulbs, minor repairs)
Maintain grounds (sweeping, snow removal, landscaping upkeep)
What to Expect
Physically demanding work in indoor and outdoor conditions
Regular bending, twisting, stooping, kneeling, and ladder use
Lifting up to 50 pounds
A mix of active, hands-on tasks and routine duties
A close-knit, friendly team that values reliability and teamwork
Requirements
Must be at least 21 years old
Ability to operate forklifts and other loading equipment (or willingness to learn)
Practical custodial and basic maintenance skills
Strong attention to detail and pride in doing a job well
