Job Description

We’re looking for a Piping Designer to support complex piping layouts within high-tech manufacturing facilities. This role focuses on producing accurate 3D models, fabrication-ready drawings, and coordinated designs that integrate seamlessly with structural, mechanical, and process engineering teams. You’ll play a key role in developing isometrics, routing concepts, and detailed P&ID-based designs that ensure efficient constructability and high-quality installations.

  Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed piping layouts, isometrics, and 3D models for high-tech industrial projects.
• Interpret P&IDs to create accurate routing, supports, and system configurations.
• Prepare fabrication drawings and coordinate with laser fabrication and shop teams to ensure accurate deliverables.
• Collaborate with engineering and construction groups to resolve design conflicts and maintain project alignment.
• Support field coordination by updating models, incorporating redlines, and maintaining drawing accuracy throughout project phases.

  Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of piping design experience within high-tech manufacturing, semiconductor, pharmaceutical, or advanced industrial facilities.
• Proficiency with CADWorx and Revit for 3D piping modeling.
• Strong understanding of fabrication requirements, laser cutting workflows, and constructible piping practices.
• Ability to interpret P&IDs, equipment layouts, and engineering specifications.
• Experience developing isometrics, layouts, and coordinated piping models.
• Knowledge of industry standards and typical piping materials, components, and supports.
• Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to collaborate across multi-disciplinary engineering and construction teams.
