\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work night shifts with every other weekend requirement
\n• First to float when census requires staffing adjustments
\n• 3 weeks of orientation provided (1 week classroom, 2 weeks unit orientation)
\n• Must have previous charge RN experience from most recent assignment
\n• No first-time travelers accepted
\n• Manager interviews required
\n• Blend of charge nurse, clinical mentor, and manager responsibilities
\n• Provide on-shift leadership to ensure safe, high-quality, and compassionate patient care
\n• Round on patients and address service or safety concerns
\n• Serve as resource for clinical and interpersonal issues
\n• Take charge nurse assignments as needed based on census and staffing levels
\n• Support staff and promote positive work environment
\n• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA), NIHSS (AHA or APEX)
\n• BSN not required
\n• Charting system: Cerner
\n• Acute care setting
\n• Cancellation policy: Hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment, 3 shifts for shorter assignments
