Overview:
American Express Global Business Travel (GBT) is seeking experienced Travel Consultants to join its fully remote Traveler Care team. In this role, you'll deliver exceptional service to corporate clients, manage complex itineraries, and use your expertise in Apollo GDS to book domestic and international travel. You'll be part of a culture known for internal promotions and innovation in the travel tech space.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide travel consultation for corporate clients (individual and group itineraries)
• Book air, hotel, rail, and car accommodations using Apollo GDS (native use required)
• Advise on travel options, upsell services, and proactively meet traveler needs
• Ensure compliance with travel policies and government requirements
• Resolve issues quickly with a customer-first mindset
• Handle confidential traveler information with integrity
• Collaborate with teammates to coach and support excellence

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of recent Apollo GDS experience (Native)
• Strong understanding of the travel industry, especially corporate/international bookings
• U.S. citizenship (required for clearance)
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Detail-oriented and self-directed problem-solver

Prior experience with government contracts is a plus
