\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work 3x12 hour rotating shifts, primarily nights (2 months nights 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 1 month days 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM)
\n• Up to 5 weekend shifts per schedule for nights (Friday/Saturday/Sunday), 4 weekend shifts per schedule for days (Saturday/Sunday)
\n• Holiday requirement if contract period includes holidays
\n• Patient ratios vary: 1:1, 1:2, 1:3 based on mixed ICU and step-down patients
\n• Float within scope to meet facility needs
\n• 2 years of PICU experience required
\n• ECMO and CRRT experience preferred
\n• South Carolina or Multi-State Compact RN license required
\n• Required certifications: BLS and PALS (American Heart Association only)
\n• 12 hours of orientation
\n• Guaranteed hours with facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
\n• All RTO must be submitted at time of submission
\n• Care for pediatric patients ages 0-18 with medical and surgical diagnoses including respiratory compromise, trauma, post-operative patients, and neurology/neurosurgery cases
\n• Work with ventilatory and cardiac support, ECMO/CRRT, renal or peritoneal dialysis, and complex supportive therapies
\n• Use EPIC charting system
\n• During hurricane season (June-November), may be assigned to emergency response teams

\nThis Level I Trauma Center is a 820-bed Magnet teaching hospital featuring a 28-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit that provides intensive and intermediate care to children from across South Carolina. The facility serves as a quaternary referral center offering comprehensive pediatric services including ECMO, CRRT, dialysis, and complex supportive therapies. The unit maintains interdisciplinary support services including respiratory therapy, pediatric dietitians, and pediatric pharmacists, with pediatric palliative care available as needed.
