Job Description
Step into a transformative Occupational Therapist role in California’s Willows, where your expertise will empower patients to reclaim independence and engage fully with their daily lives. In this dedicated specialty assignment, you’ll assess, plan, and implement patient-centered interventions that span the continuum of care, from acute rehabilitation to community reintegration. You’ll tailor activities to individual goals, monitor progress, and adapt plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, all while championing evidence-based practice and compassionate, patient-first care. This is more than a job—it’s a chance to leave a lasting imprint on individuals, families, and communities by restoring meaningful participation in work, school, play, and everyday routines. California’s beauty is a motivating backdrop for your professional journey: sunlit orchards, winding rivers, rolling foothills, and vibrant towns invite you to explore while making a meaningful difference. For those who crave variety, we offer the opportunity to work in diverse locations across the United States, expanding your clinical horizons and enriching your professional story with new settings, populations, and practice environments.
Location benefits are powerful here. Willows offers a tight-knit community feel with access to outdoor recreation, seasonal activities, and a supportive network of healthcare professionals. The surrounding Northern California landscape provides opportunities for hiking, river exploration, and weekend getaways to nearby cultural attractions, while remaining within reach of larger cities for professional development and family visits. If you’re drawn to broader experiences, our network enables travel to various locations across the U.S.—giving you the flexibility to expand your clinical expertise, encounter diverse patient demographics, and adapt to different healthcare systems. You’ll enjoy travel-friendly amenities, streamlined onboarding, and a respectful balance of professional challenge and personal well-being as you grow.
Role specifics and benefits are designed to support your growth and recognize your expertise. As a traveling Occupational Therapist in this specialty, you will evaluate patients’ functional abilities, establish comprehensive OT treatment plans, implement evidence-based interventions, and track outcomes to demonstrate progress toward independence. You’ll address a wide range of needs, from upper-extremity and motor planning strategies to cognitive and adaptive skill development, ensuring interventions align with individual goals and discharge dispositions. Collaboration is central: you’ll work with physicians, therapists from other disciplines, case managers, and family members to coordinate care, optimize mobility, and accelerate recovery. You’ll have real opportunities for professional advancement within a supportive, learning-oriented environment, including access to mentorship, ongoing clinical education, and leadership pathways as you demonstrate impact. The role offers competitive compensation, including a weekly pay range of $1,723 to $1,820, a guaranteed 36 hours per week, and a contract designed for meaningful continuity. In addition, you’ll receive a signing or completion bonus, housing assistance, and the potential for contract extensions that allow you to deepen your expertise in this specialty. Comprehensive support is a hallmark of our program: you’ll benefit from 24/7 assistance while traveling with the company, a dedicated clinical liaison, credentialing and onboarding support, and resources to help you manage licensure, documentation, and time off as needed.
Company values and culture are focused on empowerment and growth. Our organization is built on the belief that skilled therapists thrive when they are supported, trusted, and valued. We are committed to fostering a respectful, inclusive environment where your clinical judgment is respected, your voice is heard, and your career can advance on a clear, achievable trajectory. You’ll join a team that prioritizes professional development, recognizes your contributions, and provides the scaffolding you need to pursue certifications, leadership opportunities, and advanced practice roles. The emphasis on collaboration and continuous learning translates into a workplace where you’re encouraged to innovate, share best practices, and mentor others while receiving the guidance and resources that help you excel.
