Responsible for all stages of the extrusion process to ensure optimal standards for producing quality extruded sheet.

Role and Responsibilities
  • Monitor and control all aspects of quality assurance, rates, and yields.
  • Set up and control extrusion machinery to ensure optimal sheet production standards through monitoring blends, die adjustments, temperature profiles, speed settings, and collection systems.
  • Troubleshoot machine problems and assist maintenance to resolve equipment problems and/or make repairs
  • Oversee equipment, products, and controls to identify problems, such as heat and pressure monitoring issues, malfunctions, and product color and quality integrity concerns.
  • Monitor the staging and disposition of raw materials and finished goods. Material handling when needed.
  • Perform extrusion machine adjustments, set-ups, shut-downs, and changeovers.
  • Clean out blenders, mixers, and grinders as needed. Responsible for setting up blenders
  • Observe all safety requirements and maintain the work area in a neat and orderly condition. This includes but is not limited to the product area, cleaning of the machine, and general cleaning.

Pay Range:
16.84 - 25.26
