Job Summary:

The role involves finding a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager/Account Manager to join a growing team. This role is essential for expanding market presence, nurturing current client relationships, and driving revenue growth for IT services and solutions. This position is key in shaping business growth by identifying new opportunities, building strong client connections, and successfully closing deals.

Responsibilities:

New business development:

  • Research and identify new business opportunities within the IT sector.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to target high-potential clients and markets.
  • Generate and qualify leads through various channels including cold calling, networking, and industry events.
  • Develop and deliver proposals and presentations to prospective clients.
  • Negotiate and finalize contracts, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.

Account management:

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with current clients.
  • Understand client needs and recommend relevant IT solutions.
  • Act as a central point of contact for clients, resolving issues and providing timely support.
  • Identify opportunities for upsell and cross-sell to expand existing accounts.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (sales, technical, operations, etc.) to ensure service delivery and client satisfaction.

Market analysis and strategy:

  • Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.
  • Contribute to the development of business strategies to enhance market position and service offerings.

Sales pipeline and reporting:

  • Manage and track the sales pipeline, from lead generation to deal closure.
  • Prepare regular sales performance reports and forecasts for management review.
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM systems.

Skills and qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (typically 3-5 years) in business development or sales within the IT services or SaaS industry.
  • Strong understanding of IT services, solutions, and market trends.
  • Excellent B2B selling and negotiation skills.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-driven, results-oriented, and able to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Marketo, Salesforce, HubSpot) is often preferred.
