Job Summary

If you're   interested in the Entry Level Biologist job , then this is the best role for you! The R&D Biologist will support research activities involving plant transformation, molecular characterization, and greenhouse plant maintenance. This role requires a strong laboratory background and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Job Description

• P erform agrobacterium-mediated plant transformation.
• Conduct molecular characterization of transgenic events.
• Maintain plants in greenhouse environments.
• Perform general lab maintenance and housekeeping.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and work independently with minimal supervision.

Skills Required

• Minimum of 1 year of laboratory experience, with high focus on lab and/or research experience preferred.
• Proficiency Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work both independently and in a team.
• Familiarity and/or experience with:
  • Tissue culture
  • Sterile techniques
  • Molecular cloning
  • Gene regulation
  • Microscopy

Education/Training/Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Plant Biology , Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or a related field.

Additional Requirements

• Must pass a drug screening .
• Shift: 06 :00 AM
• Willing to work occasionally early mornings and late evenings, Monday through Friday.

Pay Rate/Salary

• Estimated Salary : $27.00 to $35.21 per hour based on qualifications.
