What you will experience in this position:

Coordinate the development and implementation of a comprehensive Quality Management System like ISO 9001. Lead all aspects of quality control activities, including inspection, testing, and data analysis to address non-conformances proactively, new welder certifications, and continuity. Encouraging and driving continuous improvement strategies such as Lean Six Sigma to optimize quality and efficiency. Support Advanced Product Quality Planning for supplier qualifications and new product introductions. Guide and mentor a team of quality professionals, encouraging an environment of growth through training and development opportunities. Partner with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to ensure quality standards are coordinated into all processes. Monitor and improve customer happiness by addressing quality-related feedback and complaints efficiently.

You Have:

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required; an advanced degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • \n
  • Professional certifications like CQE, CQM, CQA, CWI are advantageous.
  • \n
  • CWI certification and experience in writing welding procedures are highly preferred.
  • \n
  • Experience handling state licenses is strongly preferred.
  • \n
  • A minimum of 5 years in manufacturing quality systems and at least 2 years in leadership roles.
  • \n
  • Familiarity with Lean principles and ISO management systems is essential. Proficiency in enterprise software quality tools.
  • \n
  • Ability to analyze complex data and perform quality audits is preferred
  • \n
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate quality standards and expectations across all levels of the organization.
