About the Role:

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and well-rounded Reporter to contribute high-quality, engaging content across a portfolio of digital lifestyle and news sites. This role is perfect for someone who loves staying on top of current events, pop culture, and lifestyle trends—and knows how to turn that curiosity into compelling stories that resonate with digital audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pitch, research, and write original stories across various verticals, including entertainment, health, finance, trending news, pop culture, and more.

• Cover a mix of breaking news, evergreen features, interviews, explainers, and SEO-driven service content.

• Monitor social media, newswires, and trend tools to identify timely story angles.

• Ensure all reporting is accurate, well-sourced, and written in a tone that aligns with each site’s editorial voice.

• Collaborate with editors and other reporters to refine story angles and optimize content for search and social.

• Meet deadlines in a fast-paced, digital-first environment while juggling multiple assignments.

• Stay up to date with media trends and audience interests across platforms.

Requirements:

• Strong writing, research, and interviewing skills with a keen eye for detail.

• A passion for finding fresh angles on trending topics and telling stories in an engaging, accessible way.

• Solid understanding of SEO best practices and content optimization strategies.

• Ability to work independently while being a collaborative team player.

• Familiarity with CMS platforms, Google Trends, and digital analytics tools.

Bonus Points:

• Experience with multimedia content (video, audio, social-first formats).

• A strong network of sources or background in a specific beat (entertainment, wellness, finance, etc.).

• Knowledge of affiliate, e-commerce, or service journalism.

Please note this job is remote to start, but ultimately onsite in our offices. The position pays $2k/month + quarterly incentives.
