An educational support role is available in a K-12 school setting in Middlebury, VT, offering a full-time contract position throughout the current school year (CSY). This role is ideal for individuals with experience in paraprofessional and substitute teacher capacities, providing both one-on-one and small group support for students from Pre-K through 12th grade.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized 1-on-1 support to students requiring additional academic assistance
• Facilitate small group learning sessions to enhance student engagement and comprehension
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to implement instructional strategies tailored to student needs
• Assist in maintaining a positive, inclusive, and productive classroom environment across varying grade levels
• Adapt to diverse educational settings and respond effectively to student behavioral and academic needs

Qualifications:

• An Associates Degree or higher is required
• Current Paraprofessional Certification
• Previous experience as a paraprofessional or substitute teacher preferred
• Ability to work Monday through Friday on a full-time schedule
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to student support
