Home Instead is seeking individuals to become an integral part of our team of dedicated in home Care Professionals. Our team provides so much more than personal care and housekeeping maintenance; we give seniors and their families a sense of security and peace of mind, we lend a compassionate ear, and a warm smile, and help seniors stay at home as safely and as long as possible. To Us It’s Personal~ Our goal is to hire Caregivers that will treat our clients like they would want someone to treat their own loved one.

We have an immediate need to hire Caregivers for all shifts in the Somerset, Boswell, Meyersdale, and Jennerstown area.

Make Caregiving a long-term career or earn some extra cash as a part-time supplemental position—all the while doing something that is truly impactful in helping seniors right in your own communities to stay living comfortably and happily in their own homes.

Here are just a few of the things you might do as a Caregiver with Home Instead:

• Be there for our clients by providing companionship and conversation
• Help with errands, meal preparation, laundry, and light housekeeping
• Remind clients to take medications
• Assist with personal care, such as bathing and grooming
• Assist with toileting and incontinence care
• Transport clients to appointments and assist with errands/shopping
• Alzheimer's Care (We train!)

No experience necessary, we will provide both classroom and on-the-job training

What we will require:

• Be dedicated, reliable, and passionate about caring for the elderly
• Be a U.S. Citizen or legally authorized to work in the United States
• Be at least 18 years of age or older
• Be able to lift up to 25 lbs
• Successfully pass a criminal background check and a motor vehicle record check
• Possess a valid driver's license
• Valid auto insurance
