Job Description

We’re not just providing care, we’re creating communities where seniors and their families feel truly supported, respected, and uplifted. Our mission is to enhance lives, and that starts with a team of professionals who lead with heart and expertise. We believe in more than just meeting needs; we’re here to celebrate lives, build connections, and support every resident in living with purpose and dignity. With deep experience in senior care, our team is guided by compassion, integrity, and a culture of trust that touches every interaction.

As the Executive Director, you’ll be the visionary leader behind one of our thriving assisted living communities. You’ll oversee all aspects of operations, from quality care and regulatory compliance to team leadership and resident satisfaction, while driving growth and creating a place where residents and staff are proud to call home. This is your opportunity to make a lasting impact in a role that blends strategic leadership, people development, and heartfelt service.

As our Executive Director, you will:

Lead with Vision: Chart the course for your community’s success by developing and executing bold strategic goals that align with our mission. Inspire a culture where excellence isn’t just expected, it’s the standard.

Know the Numbers: Take charge of budgeting, financial planning, and operational sustainability. Monitor performance metrics and make decisions to ensure long-term success and profitability.

Be the Face of the Community: Lead sales and marketing efforts. Connect with families; encourage occupancy growth through powerful storytelling and trust-building.

Develop your Team: Hire, mentor, and develop a high-performing team that’s as passionate as you are. Invest in professional growth and create an environment where people feel empowered.

Connect and Elevate: Build strong relationships with families, local partners, and stakeholders, and represent your community with pride.

Deliver Excellence, Every Time: Regularly assess services, measure resident satisfaction, and implement smart improvements to deliver next-level care.

Qualifications:

A bachelor’s degree in healthcare management, business administration, or a related field, or a combination of experience and education, will be considered.
State regulations require state-specific Assisted Living Administrators certification.
3+ years of experience working as an Executive Director or Administrator in the senior living industry
Strong understanding of state and federal regulations related to assisted living facilities.
Proven financial management skills and experience managing budgets.
Experience in sales and marketing, with a track record of achieving occupancy targets.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to providing quality care and improving the lives of seniors.

Why Join Us?
At Trustwell, we believe in creating a work environment that fosters growth and satisfaction. We offer competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for professional development. By joining our team, you’ll become part of a community that values care and compassion toward its senior residents. We strive to build an inclusive work environment that celebrates differences and empowers all individuals with opportunities to channel their entrepreneurial spirit. Trustwell is an EEO employer.
