IU Health Southern Indiana Physicians , part of the largest and most comprehensive healthcare system in Indiana, is seeking an Interventional Cardiologist  to join their team in  Bloomington, Indiana!  Join a well-established and supportive practice surrounded by a great team of physicians and advanced providers in a university community within a diverse cultural environment. You will have the opportunity to optimize a quality program while expanding services to the east side counties of the region.

Position Highlights:

• Fulltime Monday - Friday including clinical hours and administrative time
• 40% inpatient and 60% outpatient 
• Participate in teaching opportunities with 1st-4th year medical students and residency programs starting in 2025
• Practice within our outpatient cardiology office and perform inpatient responsibilities in our adjacent Regional Academic Health Campus 

There is significant potential to expand the complex coronary and peripheral interventional capabilities within the group. 

Qualifications :

• Fellowship training in Cardiology, required
• Must be Board Eligible or Board Certified
• Physician licensed in Indiana or eligible for medical licensure in Indiana
• Visa sponsorship available; H-1B

The new  IU Health Bloomington Hospital and Regional Academic Health Center opened in December 2021. The facility offers a personalized approach to inpatient services (including intensive care, complex surgeries and comprehensive obstetrics and gynecology services), outpatient services with leading-edge diagnostic testing, flexible space in the emergency department for post-care observation, a dedicated trauma center and a cancer infusion center.

At the same time, the facility strengthens healthcare education by providing space for collaboration and coordination of care and teaching. Students and trainees frequently come to the hospital side of the facility for clinical experiences.
