Job Description

As an Armed Security Officer you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, Healthcare, Education, Government and more.

Pay: $16.50 / Hour

Responsibilities:

• Security Professionals assigned to the FSED sites are expected to be able to operate at a minimal level of supervision.
• All officers are required to have considerable comprehension of all policies and procedures.
• SPs assigned to FSEDs are required to maintain daily operations and communications. Specifically:
• Supplies and equipment needs are required to be reported immediately in EOS
• Every officer on shift is required to complete a daily activity report for every shift
• All events and incidents that are not NORMAL DAILY ACTIVITIES require an incident report
• SPs assigned to the FSED locations are expected to abide by all company policy without the need of a supervisor present to ensure practices are being upheld.
• ·Daily duty expectations:
• Monitor alarms, telephones and vocera
• Escort all arriving patients in need of wheelchair assistance from entrance to registration desk
• Complete an End Of Shift report containing ALL information pertinent to the activities on your shift
• Complete IRs for any missing property reported to Security
• Process lost and found per SOP
• Process patient valuables per SOP
• Conduct metal detection screening from on every person entering facility and all bags entering the facility
• Escort all vendors on site
• Enforce no smoking policy
• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry specific security/safety training programs
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
