Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Lead and implement concurrent environmental and civil engineering projects.
• Provide technical oversight, leadership, and mentorship to engineers and project staff.
• Conduct design analysis and prepare engineering cost estimates, drawings, and specifications.
• Manage landfill design, wastewater treatment, and large-scale groundwater remediation projects.
• Oversee permitting in PA and NJ (industrial wastewater discharge, soil erosion, sediment control, and site planning).
• Ensure compliance with federal environmental and safety regulations (RCRA, CERCLA, CWA, OSHA, TSCA).
• Support business development through proposal writing, client presentations, and project budgeting.
• Collaborate with senior leadership on planning, scheduling, and quality control to ensure project success.
• Participate in field visits, construction oversight, and client meetings as needed.

Required Experience:

• Current New Jersey Professional Engineer (PE) license (required).
• 15+ years of experience in environmental or civil engineering.
• 6+ years of progressive management and leadership experience.
• Proven record managing landfill, wastewater, and remediation projects.
• Expertise in NJ/PA permitting and regulatory processes.
• Current OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER and refresher certification.
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Civil, or Chemical Engineering ( Master's preferred ).
• Strong project and client management skills with experience in proposal preparation.
• Software: MS Excel, Project, PowerPoint (GIS/MicroStation/AutoCAD a plus).
