Are you an expert in technical accounting with a passion for financial analysis, problem-solving, and a knack for managing a team? If so, we are looking for a Permanent Technical Accounting Manager to join our dynamic finance team. This is not your ordinary accounting job. As the Technical Accounting Manager, you will play a crucial role in the financial management of our company, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, developing effective financial strategies, implementing proper internal controls, and playing a key role in corporate financial decisions.

Responsibilities

As a Technical Accounting Manager, your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Overseeing the application and implementation of technical accounting standards, including ASC 842 Lease Accounting and ASC 606 Revenue Recognition.
2. Preparing, reviewing, and releasing timely and complete financial statements.
3. Supervising and managing the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
4. Working closely with the finance team and other departments to improve financial procedures.
5. Conducting regular ledger activities, including reviewing and analyzing.
6. Ensuring compliance with all internal controls and financial policies.
7. Leading the preparation for the annual audit.
8. Using NetSuite for financial reporting and analysis.
9. Providing strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the organization.
10. Evaluating and advising on the impact of long-range planning, introduction of new programs/strategies, and regulatory action.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for the Technical Accounting Manager position will have the following qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required.
3. Minimum of 5+ years of technical accounting experience, preferably in the finance industry.
4. Extensive knowledge of ASC 842 Lease Accounting, ASC 606 Revenue Recognition, and other relevant accounting standards.
5. Proficiency in NetSuite or similar accounting software.
6. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
7. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
8. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
9. Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems.
10. Keen attention to detail and ability to work under strict deadlines.
