Job Description
Step into a transformative opportunity as an Occupational Therapist in Quincy, California, and discover a role that blends clinical impact with the freedom to explore one of the country’s most scenic regions. This travel assignment invites you to apply your expertise to help patients regain independence, redefine daily living activities, and reclaim confidence in mobility, self-care, and participation. Imagine guiding diverse clients—from adults navigating life after injury to individuals reshaping routines following illness—toward meaningful outcomes, while you expand your professional toolkit through a broad range of cases and settings. Your hands-on assessments, thoughtful activity analysis, adaptive equipment recommendations, and collaborative care planning will ripple through families and communities, underscoring the essential role OT plays in quality of life. And as you dedicate yourself to patient progress, you’ll also have the opportunity to savor California’s remarkable landscapes—from the pine-streaked valleys to pristine lakes and winding byways—that offer rejuvenating breaks and unforgettable weekend adventures.
Quincy’s appeal lies in its welcoming community and access to outdoor recreation that enriches both work-life balance and personal well-being. Nestled near the Sierra Nevada foothills, this area offers hiking, fishing, winter sports, and serene natural vistas that inspire a holistic approach to care. The assignment also serves as a gateway to work across multiple U.S. locations, delivering exposure to varied care environments—from rural clinics to interconnected hospital teams—enhancing adaptability, clinical versatility, and professional resilience. With California’s diverse geography nearby, you’ll find opportunities to explore Lassen Volcanic National Park, Lake Almanor, and other natural wonders during downtime, fueling renewed energy for your next patient encounter.
In this OT role, you’ll conduct comprehensive evaluations, establish patient-centered goals, design and implement evidence-based treatment plans, and monitor progress toward meaningful functional outcomes. You’ll address self-care, mobility, cognition, perceptual skills, and social participation, while coordinating with physicians, physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, and social workers to ensure a cohesive, client-focused approach. You’ll champion activity engagement, optimize environmental modifications, and educate families and caregivers to sustain gains after discharge. The position offers guaranteed 36.0 hours per week, with competitive weekly pay ranging from $3,130 to $3,267, and a Start Date of 12/01/2025 for an engagement measured in Weeks with potential extensions. Beyond core compensation, you may be eligible for a signing bonus, housing assistance, relocation support, and a transition package designed to ease your move and help you hit the ground running. As you travel, you will receive 24/7 support from our experienced travel care team, ensuring seamless logistics, safety, and timely assistance whenever needed. You’ll also benefit from a robust onboarding experience and ongoing professional development opportunities to broaden your OT expertise across settings and populations, enriching your clinical life and advancing your career trajectory. The role is structured to maximize professional growth, with access to mentorship, specialty training, and a clear path toward expanded responsibilities as you demonstrate impact and leadership in care delivery.
Our company is built on a steadfast commitment to empowering clinicians to advance their careers within a supportive, collaborative environment. We invest in your continuous learning through education allowances, regular clinical rounding, and opportunities to pursue certifications that align with your interests and the needs of the communities you serve. You’ll find a culture that values curiosity, resilience, and teamwork, where your voice informs practice improvements and patient-centered care is at the heart of every assignment. We recognize the importance of work-life balance and offer flexible scheduling, transparent communication, and a comprehensive support network designed to help you thrive—from orientation to ongoing performance feedback and career planning. Your professional growth matters to us, and your well-being is integral to the way we deliver care.
If you’re ready to make a meaningful impact while exploring California’s beauty and broad U.S. care environments, apply today. This is your chance to join a company that respects your expertise, rewards your dedication, and actively supports your development at every step.
